Rustbond

Carboline’s Rustbond is a penetrating primer/sealer with excellent wetting properties. It is highly flexible with good chemical and solvent resistance, and accepts a variety of topcoats. It works well over prepared steel, galvanizing, aluminum, stainless steel and copper, or over old coatings. It penetrates rust and discontinuities in existing coatings and provides a firm anchorage for a variety of topcoats. Its thixotropic character reduces runoff, sealing the edges of existing coatings and reducing undercutting and peeling. It is available in a 2-gallon kit, and can be brushed on or rolled on.
