Richmond Supply Company has 5 full-time belt crews available for field conveyor belt installation. Our full-time belt crews are in addition to our seasoned shop professionals whose expertise include fabrication of a wide variety of lightweight belting.

Our field crew teams are totally self-contained fabrication units able to perform the most demanding jobs with little or no need for your plant’s valuable resources. These mobile crews have everything needed for turnkey belt installation and tracking including power generators, belt winders, vulcanizers and a wide variety of other specialized tools. Regardless of your conveyor’s size or length, our fabricators are able to wind your existing belt from the conveyor and then string, vulcanize (or lace) and track a new belt at your location. We even dispose of your old belt for you.

Before we install your new belt we’ll perform a preliminary check of the condition of the existing idlers and pulleys. And if necessary we will replace these components for you. Often times we are able to make recommendations on achieving longer belt life by observing the conditions under which the conveyor operates. Something as easy as lagging your head pulley can reduce commonplace slippage causing premature belt failure. And if we notice that waste buildup on your pulley is damaging your belt or your components we may recommend and install a belt-cleaner that quietly alleviates the problem.
