Terminator, from Gates, is one tough hose with a rugged cover for outstanding abrasion resistant capability and extended service life where constant flexing and bending is required. It is designed for applications involving air, oil and water transfer, as well as grease sprays, paraffin waxes, salt solutions and a variety of chemicals. It offers excellent durability for extra long life in mining, air drill, construction, poultry plants and many other severe service environments. It also offers weather and ozone resistance, and is non-conductive at 1000 volts DC. It is made of Type C (Nitrile) hose, with a synthetic, high tensile cord. Its temperature range is from -40°F and 212°F (-40°C to 100°C),

ORIGINAL BAND-IT – The original Band-It Tool is a drop forged tool with tensioning capability of over 2,400 lbs and a built-in cutter. New improved features include:

• A spring loaded gripper lever for improved band tensioning

• A friction held cutoff lever with plastic grip for easier operation

• A blue, epoxy powder coated finish virtually impervious to impact, chemicals

and corrosive elements

• A spring handle retaining ring to keep parts intact.

GIANT BAND-IT – The Giant Tool must be used to apply heavy-duty Giant clamps. Measuring 16-1/2″ in length, it is designed to pull up to 16,000 pounds.

BAND-IT JR. ADAPTER, HEAVY DUTY JR. ADAPTER – Band-It Jr. Smooth ID Clamps and Preformed Clamps are applied with the original Band-It tool and the Jr. Adapter tool. For portable applications, use the Heavy Duty Jr. Adapter tool.

CENTER PUNCH – These ratchet-action tensioning tools are used to apply Center Punch and Center Punch Open-End clamps with a center punch lock. This model is used for 3/8″ (9.53mm) wide and 5/8″ (15.99mm) wide clamps.

POK-IT II – A smaller, more portable Band-It model, used to apply 1/4″ and 3/8″ width clamps It can also be used for free-end clamps in a wide range of sizes.

Goodyear’s Plicord 250 hose is a rugged construction used for all-around steam service in chemical plants, refineries, shipyards and demanding industrial service. It is recommended for cleaning, thawing, blow-out service, steam pumps, hoists and other applications involving steam. The tube and cover are made of Versigard synthetic rubber and the reinforcement of spiral plied steel wire. The temperature range is 0°F to 406°F (-18°C to 208°C).

Shark suction hose, from Gates, is designed to convey water, detergents, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids and dilute solutions of acids, alkalies and glycols. The tube is made of EPDM (type P), reinforced with a synthetic, high-tensile textile with a steel wire helix. The cover is made of SBR (type D). This hose can handle temperatures between -40°F and 180°F (-40°C to 82°C), continuous service.

Nominal Smooth Bore Teflon Hose, NSB Series
Resistoflex’s Nominal Smooth Bore hose is made to handle the most difficult applications. It has excellent flex life, high temperature resistance and chemical resistance. It is also steam-compatible and non-adhesive, making it an excellent choice for applications requiring steam cleaning or transfer of highly viscous media. The STW series hose is reinforced with 304 stainless steel wire. The cover braid is made of stainless steel, and the tubing is available in sizes ranging from 3/16 in. to 1 in. I.D. It performs in temperatures ranging from -65°F to +450°F (-54°C to +230°C).

It is used in refineries, shipyards, chemical plants, steel mills, foundries and heavy industrial applications that require high strength. The tube and cover are made of Pyrosyn synthetic rubber and the reinforcement of braided steel wire. The temperature range is 0°F to 450°F (-18°C to 232°C).
