Foot Valve Assemblies
Dixon’s foot valves are employed in a variety of general industrial applications but are primarily used in the construction industry. They are a critical component in de-watering operations, draining, and water transfer. Attached to oil suction discharge hose, foot valves prevent large particles from clogging the pump during suction operations. The leather “flapper” on the valve closes, allowing fluid to remain in the hose, which keeps the pump “primed.” Foot valves are made of cast iron and are available painted or galvanized.
