Nylo-Seal Nylon 11 Tubing

Imperial’s Nylo-seal nylon tubing was designed for a broad range of installations, including food conducting applications. It is constructed of Nylon 11, which eliminates the problems of embrittlement or swelling that can occur with ordinary nylon tubing. It has an extremely low moisture absorption (1.9%, compared to 16% for other nylons). It does not require moisture for flexibility because of its unique molecular structure, so it does not become brittle, even though it maintains the advantages of other nylons such as toughness, resilience and chemical compatibility. It has a high corrosion resistance, and is not affected by common solvents, alkalis, petroleum oils, greases and photographic solutions. It also offers excellent resistance to flexual fatigue, and can be used where there is vibration or tube movement. This tubing works well with a wide range of applications, including instrument, lubricant, air and hydrocarbon fuel lines; process lines for gases, chemicals and oils; fuel and oil; coolant lines for air conditioning and refrigeration equipment; low pressure hydraulic lines; food and beverages.
