ToolsHolz’s Perflex expansion joints have a cover made of neoprene, a metal flange made of galvanized steel, and a reinforcement made of nylon tire cord. It works well with moderate chemicals and acids, oils, fats, greases, most oils and many solvents. It is not recommended, however for oxidizing acids, esters or ketones. The temperature range is from 14°F to 225°F (10°C to 107°C), and the maximum pressure is 225 PSI.
