Flexco’s Alligator staples streamline installation to save time. These one-piece fasteners arrive with staples pre-inserted in the top plate, eliminating the need to load a dispenser or manually load individual staples into a tool. Just fit the strip onto the belt ends, secure them with the special installation tool, drive and finish-set for a strong, long-lasting splice. High-tensile stainless steel staple fasteners are furnished in strips with a bridge between each fastener plate. They provide a strong splice, resistance to impact damage and a smooth, unrippled joing that makes hinge insertion easier. The staples work between carcass fibers without severing them as they are hammer-driven through, then clinched cross-wise to the belt.

ASGCO’s Tru-Trainer idlers have a patented design that offers the most reliable and reactive tracking idlers available today. It has a stainless steel internal pivot (perpendicular to the plane of the belt) with a rubber covered shell and tapered ends that helps actuate the trainer immediately as the belt moves off center. It is always reacting and does not wait, like conventional trainers, for the conveyor belt to walk over to 90-degree sensor rollers before adjusting. The Tru-Trainer reacts as the belt tracker moves off center by contacting the tapered section of the roller on that side of the conveyor belt. This causes the roller to rotate on its central pivot, centering the belt back to its original position.
